We know that provenance is as important to our customers as it is to us which is why the majority of meat we sell is born, bred and butchered on-site at Stoneygate. Any additional meat is sourced from other local farms
All of our animals are expertly butchered on-site with the greatest care and we aim to use every part of the animal. This is why you can always find everything from sausages and steaks to haggis and black pudding in our farm shop.
We feel that by working in this way, we can guarantee consistently superior meat for our customers; animals that have been slowly reared and butchered with care and respect will produce higher-quality, better tasting meat. Simple!
As well as our range of traditional cuts, we hang whole carcasses in our cold rooms to process as and when required. So, if you have a special request, our butcher is always happy to help and can often prepare your cuts as you wait.
While most of our beef, pork and lamb comes from the farm, we source our poultry from carefully selected local farmers who we know work as hard as we do to guarantee that their product is as high welfare and ethical as possible, ensuring great taste time and time again.
As we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by nature, we are able to stock game such as pheasant, partridge and duck when in season.
